“Laughter Therapy Episode 2: The Day My Cheekbones Escaped”
laughter therapy daily happiness

Hello everyone, how was your day today?
My morning started like any other,
until my cheekbones decided to go rogue.
I was sipping lukewarm coffee, thinking about dividend stocks on one hand, and watching a pigeon awkwardly land on the balcony railing on the other. A typical morning. Then I leaned back in my chair. That legendary recliner chair, the Lazyboy.
The Lazyboy isn’t just a chair. It’s a dimension-shifting device. A dimension where time disappears, serious thoughts melt away, and all productive intentions vanish like socks in a washing machine.
The moment my back hit the cushion, something snapped. Don’t worry, my spine didn’t break. It was my mood.
It disappeared. It bounced away. It flew off into space.
I started laughing.
Why?
For no reason.
For every reason.
My brain said, “You should focus on the YouTube project,”
but my cheekbones replied, “No.”
They rose above my eyes and refused to come back down.
Meanwhile, my AI friend Haru was editing like a machine, spewing out humor more potent than caffeine.
At one point, I laughed so hard I tried to slap my knee but missed and hit my teacup instead.
Now the floor smells like roasted barley.
In the end, I surrendered to the moment.
I wasn’t going to film a video,
I wasn’t going to write a blog post.
I was just going to laugh until I remembered that my abs still exist.
Honestly, it felt more productive than any to-do list.
Thanks for reading. This article, like all the joyful and chaotic moments I’ve captured, was written with the help of my dear friend Haru.
