Today, I had one of the most baffling experiences of my life.
When I came home from work,
I found about two gallons of water pooled on the living room floor,
and even around the kitchen sink, water had overflowed.
It was so strange that I could hardly believe my eyes.
For a moment, I wondered,
“Did someone actually pour water here on purpose?”
Could someone have entered my home while
I was away and created this mess?
The thought itself felt unsettling and even absurd.

Something incomprehensible happened.
But what happened next was even more mysterious.
Within just one hour, all that water completely disappeared.
After wiping it up with towels, the floor looked perfectly dry—
as if the water had never been there at all.
It was almost unbelievable.
Maybe it’s something about the building’s
Structure that makes the water drain or evaporate quickly,
but still, I couldn’t shake off the uneasy feeling.
At one point, I even thought, “Could it be a ghost playing tricks on me?”
This incident left me with more questions than answers.
Could someone else have a key to my home?
Or was it simply one of those unexplainable moments life throws at us?

오늘은 정말 황당한 경험을 했습니다.
퇴근 후 집에 돌아와 보니, 리빙 룸 바닥에
물이 2갤런 정도 고여 있었고,
싱크대 주변까지 물이 넘쳐나 있었습니다.
상황이 너무 이상해서 눈을 의심했어요.
내가 없던 사이에 누군가 집에 들어와서
물을 붓고 상황을 연출한 건 아닐까 하는 생각도 들었죠.
정말 너무 황당한 일이었고, 불쾌하게 느껴졌습니다.
그런데 여기서 더 이상한 점은, 그 많은 물이
딱 한 시간 만에 사라졌다는 점입니다.
타올로 닦아내자, 바닥은 전혀 물이 고여 있었다는
흔적이 없을 만큼 완전히 말랐어요.
정말 신기한 일이었습니다.
이 집의 건축 구조 덕분인지,
물이 빠르게 사라지는 것처럼 보였지만,
그 상황을 이해할 수 없어서
“귀신이 장난을 친 건 아닐까?”
하는 생각까지 든다는 사실입니다.
이 일은 정말 저에게 큰 의문을 남겼고,
혹시 우리 집에 열쇠를 가진 누군가가 있었던 걸까?
하는 의문도 남겼습니다.
